Small School (Classes C-D)

JOE JARDINE

The Greenville junior guard averaged 22 points per game as the Lakers defeated Forest Hills of Jackman and Richmond to improve their record to 3-1. The transfer from Piscataquis of Guilford scored 27 points in a 76-56 win at Richmond that knocked the Bobcats from the unbeaten ranks.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

SAMANTHA WILEY

The Camden Hills senior guard scored 19 points, including two free throws in the final minute, to help the Windjammers to a key 50-49 win over previously undefeated Rockland last Thursday.

Small School (Classes C-D)

COURTNEY COCHRAN

Cochran, a freshman forward for the Woodland basketball team, made a layup with 3.4 seconds left in the game for a 46-45 win over Washington Academy Tuesday. She went on to record 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Dragons, who are 5-0.
