MACHIAS – Christiannah Holmes scored 12 points and had 14 rebounds to lead Machias past Jonesport-Beals 40-35 in girls basketball action Wednesday.

At The Colisee in Lewiston, Joe Gauthier scored two first period goals to help Lewiston to the victory.
Danny Cloutier added a goal for 5-0 Lewiston. Adam Wilding, Kyle Beaulieu, and Nate Gruz each had an assist as Nick Langlais stopped 20 of 22 shots.
Zach Wilson and Matt Grimes each scored a goal for 3-1 Brewer. Ben Caldwell had an assist and Aaron Saunders made 19 saves on 22 shots.
