Puls, Windjammers remain undefeated

NEWCASTLE – Cameron Puls scored 15 points as undefeated Camden Hills of Rockport downed host Lincoln Academy 59-44 in a KVAC Class B boys basketball game Thursday night.

Jamey Davis and David Pike added 10 points apiece for Camden Hills while Tim Stammen scored nine points

Pat Howell notched 14 for the Eagles.

Matt Carey led Foxcroft Academy with a game-high 17 points while Rideout, a transfer this year from Presque Isle, finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Cynewski added with 11 points, including three 3-point goals, to help Ponies rallied from a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit.

Matt McGlinn and Greg Whitaker paced Presque Isle with 13 points each.

Bucksport’s Brianna Kone scored seven of her team-best 15 in the third quarter. She also had six rebounds and three assists. Jen Murauckas added 10 points. Keely Sullivan launched a 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have tied the game, but the ball rimmed out.
