At Sukee Arena in Winslow, Andy Wheeler’s goal off a slap shot from 10 feet in front of the net five minutes and 34 seconds into overtime gave the host Black Raiders the win.
Kevin McCabe’s goal off an assist from Brian Poulin with 1:31 left in the third period tied the game for the Raiders. Mike Zemrak scored the other goal on a Zach Croppa assist. Deven Grenier made 29 saves on 31 shots.
Kevin Brooks and Mike Brown scored for the 3-3 Hampden Academy Broncos. Paul Morrison had two assists while Lance Ingerson and Jason Huntley each had one assists. Rory Woods had 23 saves on 26 shots.
