MEDFORD, Mass. – Shannon Kynoch scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds Tuesday night to lead the University of Southern Maine to an 86-64 women’s basketball victory over Tufts.
Tiffany Jones had 20 points, four steals and five assists for the Huskies of Gorham. Megan Myles had 14 points and five steals and Katie Frost had 10 assists to go with her eight points.
Jessica Powers and Julia Verplank each had 11 points for Tufts University and Valerie Krah added 10.

Kyle Petrie scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Bowdoin, while Mark Yakavonis contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Travis Magnusson paced UMaine-Farmington with 18 points and five assists. Bobby Deetjen netted 16 points and Matt St. John added 10.
