DYLAN GEORGE

A junior right wing on the Bangor hockey team, George scored five goals to lead the 5-2 Rams to a pair of victories. George scored three goals Tuesday as Bangor cruised past Waterville 7-3, and had two goals and an assist Saturday to lead the Rams to a 3-1 victory over Brewer.

Small School (Classes C-D)

NEIL COWAN

A senior forward for the Lee Academy basketball team, Cowan hit an 18-foot jumper with 4 seconds left to lift the Pandas to a 41-40 victory over Katahdin. He also had 13 points and 10 rebounds in a win at Bangor Christian and eight points and eight boards as Lee knocked Deer Isle-Stonington out of the unbeaten ranks.

Big School (Classes A-B)

CASSIE WHITE

White, a junior guard for the Hermon basketball team, was the leading scorer for the 6-0 Hawks last week, tossing in 25 points in a 55-43 win over Caribou Dec. 30 and scoring 17 points in a 76-26 win over Foxcroft Tuesday.

Small School (Classes C-D)

AARIKA RITCHIE

The Lee Academy freshman guard scored 17 points in a key 59-39 victory over previously undefeated Class C Woodland Monday. The defending Eastern Maine Class D champion Pandas were 6-0 after the win.
