STACYVILLE – Brett Gould scored 10 of his 17 points in the second quarter to power the host Katahdin Cougars to the 53-50 schoolboy basketball victory over Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook Wednesday.
Alex McAvoy scored 13 points for the Cougars, and Owen McCarthy added 10.
