University of Maine at Fort Kent associate professor of music and education Scott Brickman recently had his electronic-acoustic composition, “Signature: Peace,” released on a CD produced by Capstone Records.

The professor is chairman of the department of arts and humanities at UMFK.

Dietary managers Jennifer Savery and Helen Farmer of the Northern Maine Medical Center Nutrition Services Department have passed a nationally recognized exam.

“Dietary staff of both kitchens at NMMC and Forest Hill congratulate Jennifer and Helen in achieving this certification,” Barry Pelletier, Nutrition Services Department director said in a recent press release. “They have worked hard and studied even harder to reach this milestone in their careers, and we are all proud of their accomplishments.”
