Basic training

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Matthew Pratt has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

A 2003 graduate of Bangor High School, he is the son of April Pratt and David Lawler, both of Bangor.

SAN ANTONIO – Air Force Airman Ryan T. Curley has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base.

Curley is the son of Michelle Curley of Bangor and a 2004 graduate of Bangor High School.

SAN ANTONIO – Air Force Airman Matthew Cepero recently graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base.

Cepero is the son of Robert Cepero of Carmel and a 2003 graduate of Hermon High School.

SAN ANTONIO – Air Force Airman Anthony Nason recently graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base.

Nason is the son of Cheryl and Larry Nason of Hampden and a 2004 graduate of Hampden Academy.

Advanced training

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Army Pvt. Kristina F. Muniz has graduated from the signal-support systems specialist advanced training course at Fort Gordon.

The 10-week course is designed to train students in the skills, knowledge and responsibilities required to provide telecommunications, signal-support systems and terminal devices. Students also learn how to integrate signal systems and networks to combat units on the battlefield.

Muniz is the sister of Diana H. Muniz of Bucksport, and the granddaughter of Harriet Muniz of Bucksport. She is a 2003 graduate of Bucksport High School.
