HERMON – The Ellsworth Eagles converted all six of their free throws in the fourth quarter Friday night en route to overtaking previously undefeated Hermon and earning a 50-45 Class B girls basketball victory.

Monique Boutaugh tallied 14 points for Ellsworth and Laura Archer added 13. Hillary Savage and Ashley Oleson scored nine each.

Mallery Hall led the Hawks with 12 points, Shannon Wiggin contributed 11 and Paige Macdonald had 10.

Hynes finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds for Rockland. Lindsay Barnes scored 13 points, and Nicole Clark grabbed 10 rebounds.

Toby Martin scored a game-high 16 points for Maranacook of Readfield. Shannon Bean chipped in with 10.
