Violette, Fort Kent triumph

FORT KENT – Kristin Violette scored 21 of her 31 points during a 37-20 first-half outburst that carried the Fort Kent High School girls basketball team to a 72-55 win over Limestone Monday night.

Violette also had seven rebounds and five steals. Mindy Morneault notched 12 points and five steals and Marissa Albert tossed in 10.

Lindsey Beaulieu sparked the Eagles with 24 points and Anna Haller notched 18.
