BANGOR – Holly Gracie hit 6 of 12 shots en route to a team-high 17-point effort in leading the Husson College Braves to a 69-66 women’s basketball win over the Colby College White Mules at Newman Gym Tuesday night.
Jodi Merchant helped Husson with 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Michelle Murray of Corinna had 11 points and Calais’ Crystal Martin added 10. Each had three assists.
Kathleen Nicholson scored 20 points and dished out a game-high six assists for the White Mules. Katie McCabe hit seven of 10 field goals for 16 points. Wendy Bonner had nine points and eight rebounds.
The teams shot an identical 42.9 percent from the floor.
