BREWER – Matt Grimes scored three goals, one in each period, to lead the Brewer Witches to an 8-5 high school hockey victory over the Lawrence Bulldogs at T.J. Ryan Arena Monday.
Matt Wilson and Marc Relford each added a goal and two assists for the 6-3 Witches and Zach Wilson recorded a goal and an assist. Davey Perry and Eamon Harding each chipped in with a goal while John Ambrose, Devin Fitzpatrick and Reid McLaughlin had an assist apiece.
Aaron Saunders notched 16 saves for Brewer.
Brothers Tom and Jack Hersom each scored two goals to lead 3-6 Lawrence with Tom Hersom adding an assist. Josh Mitchell contributed a goal and two assists while Mike Hersom, Alex Miller and Josh Slaney each had an assist. Allie Woods made 31 saves.

At Alfond Arena in Orono, Josh Hunnefeld netted the winning goal for the Crusaders with a minute left to play.
Hunnefeld was assisted by Jon-Paul Leibfarth and Zach Grenier. Alex Yates and Matt Swift scored 4-4 Bapst’s other goals, while John Cooper and T.J. Hopkins each had an assist. Nate Kuneman had 20 saves.
James Dubay and Jason Smith each scored once for the 0-9-1 Indians. Nathan Cates had one assist and Jason Trask had 22 saves.

At the Colisse in Lewiston, Nick Payson scored twice and notched an assist as the Rams beat Lewiston.
Dylan George and T.J. Vanidestine both assisted on Payson’s two goals. Ben Estebrook and Matt Boehmer each added a goal and Andrew Marin had an assist. Aaron Buzzell had 19 saves for 8-2 Bangor.
