GORHAM – Ashley Marble led four players in double figures with 17 points and nine rebounds as the seventh-ranked University of Southern Maine Huskies rolled to a 93-55 women’s basketball win over UMass-Boston Tuesday.
Lindsey Welch hit four 3-pointers on her way to 16 points as did Katie Frost, who totaled 15 for USM. Donna Cowing notched a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards.
Elmina Darville connected on five 3-pointers for 15 points to lead the Beacons.

At Standish, the Bates College Bobcats put six players in double figures for scoring and they notched their eighth win in 12 games.
Rob Stockwell had 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Bobcats. Bryan Wholey had 14, Brian Gerrity and Elliott Linsley each scored 12, and Jon Furbush and Bangor’s Zak Ray added 10 apiece.
Chad Pulkkinen had 13 points to pace the Monks. Steve Monteiro and Jon Pratt each scored 10.
