PRESQUE ISLE – Ian Pasquarelli collected a hat trick and Mitch Hall notched three assists as the Houlton-Hodgdon Black Hawks beat rival Presque Isle 4-1 in a Class B schoolboy hockey game at the Northern Maine Forum Tuesday night.

Tyler Hutchinson added a goal for the 5-3-2 winners and Nic Joslyn made 24 saves.

Ryan Cyr scored unassisted for the 5-4-2 Wildcats and Brendan Esquebel posted 31 saves.

At Van Buren, Ashlee Peters’ three free throws in the final minute were the difference in the game as the visiting Hornets notched a come-from-behind victory.

Van Buren had two 3-point shots in the final 10 seconds but both were off the mark.

Ashley Nemer scored 12 points for the Hornets.

Lisa LeVasseur scored 11 points and Megan Lajoie had 10 for the Crusaders.
