CARMEL – Six residents have submitted nomination papers for three elective offices that will be filled during a local election on Saturday, March 5, according to the deputy town clerk.

Voters will fill two seats on the Board of Selectmen and one position on the SAD 23 board of directors. All of the positions are three-year terms.

Five residents submitted verified nomination papers for the Board of Selectmen. They are: Chairman Jay Deane, Selectwoman Suzan Rudnicki, former Selectman John Luce, Mike Mellott and Peter Pelletier.

Voters will fill the expiring positions of Deane and Rudnicki.

For the SAD 23 board of directors, only board member, Lawrence “Pat” Webber, submitted nomination papers for his expiring seat.
