A Down East church has launched a Bible academy. Begun the first week of December, Faith Bible Academy is the result of three years of waiting and praying by the members of Faith Bible Fellowship Church, Pastor Ambrose Rolfe says. It started with seven pupils and three mothers. To celebrate, the church plans a Valentine banquet with signer Rusty Coffey. It will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at the academy, Back Bay Road, a third of a mile off Route 1A. Call 546-3477 or 546-2801.
