A program for mentoring and character-building of area teens is getting under way at Presque Isle Wesleyan Church. The first part involves a “lighthouse store” in the church’s youth cafe. It is designed to raise money for a Feb. 12 event that will call on students to show positive influence on their community. Senior high youth director Michael W. Waugh says donations to the lighthouse store can involve new items, gift certificates or a service. Call the church at 764-5187.
