Stratton FTs help MDI girls edge Hermon

MOUNT DESERT – Kelsey Stratton made two foul shots to put Mount Desert Island ahead by four points and help the Trojans withstand a 3-pointer at the buzzer by Hermon’s Cassie White on their way to a 42-41 Big East Class B girls basketball victory Friday night.

Stratton finished with 18 points.

White wound up with 17 points for the Hawks.
