BANGOR – Chris Pease scored unassisted with 1:12 left in overtime to give the Hampden Academy Broncos a 4-3 high school hockey victory over the John Bapst Crusaders Saturday.

Kevin Brooks scored two goals for 7-3 Hampden while Ian Lee had a goal and an assist. Pease also had two assists and Rory Woods made nine saves on 12 shots.

Zac Greenier scored a goal and had an assist for 4-5 John Bapst. Alex Yates and John Cooper each scored a goal. Connor Scofield had two assists and Nate Kuneman stopped 41 of 45 shots.

Brewer 5, Brunswick 3

At Dayton Arena in Brunswick, Zach Wilson and Mike Kotredes each scored two goals and had one assist to lead Brewer to the victory.

Matt Wilson added a goal and an assist for the 7-3 Witches and John Ambrose had two assists. Aaron Saunders stopped 25 of 28 shots.

Josh Clark and Chris Pendagast each had a goal and an assist for 6-4 Brunswick and Blaine Cardali scored a goal. Chris Billett made 22 saves on 26 shots.

Girls basketball

Presque Isle 57, Orono 27

At Presque Isle, Tasha Deschene scored 18 points and Moriah Morris tossed in nine more and Presque Isle outscored Orono 24-3 in the first quarter en route to the win.

Katie Delong had seven points for PI.

Stacey Saucier’s eight points and Lauren Young’s six led Orono.
