HOULTON – The Houlton Shiretowners used a balanced scoring attack to beat the Hodgdon Hawks 52-39 in schoolboy basketball action Monday night.

Brett Miles and William “Winky” Lloyd led the Shirewith 10 points each.

Jay Myers and Justin Stewart added nine points each for the Shiretowners, which outscored Hodgdon 22-6 in the second quarter to take control.

Evan Carter led Hodgdon with 13 points, while Jordan Guy added 11.
