Millinocket group sets business seminar

MILLINOCKET – The Millinocket Area Growth and Investment Council, Bangor Savings Bank and Eastern Maine Development Corp. will hold a seminar at noon Friday to help entrepreneurs write successful business plans.

The seminar titled “Business Plan from a Financial Prospective” will be held at MAGIC’s Business Resource and Innovation Center. Participants will be shown how to write a plan that financial institutions will want to fund.

Expects from Bangor Savings Bank will explain what commercial loan officers look for in business plans. A representative from the Maine Small Business Development Center will also be on hand.

The seminars are part of a bigger plan to develop an incubator program that will help build skills through knowledge of successful business operations.
