Big School (Classes A-B)
MITCH HALL
AND IAN PASQUARELLI
The linemates on the Houlton-Hodgdon hockey team combined for five goals and six assists as the Black Hawks earned two victories to improve to 6-3-2. Hall, a senior center, had a goal and five assists, including a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Kents Hill. Pasquarelli, a junior left wing, had four goals and an assist, including three goals in a 4-1 win over Presque Isle.
Small School (Classes C-D)
COLLIN HENRY
A junior forward for the George Stevens of Blue Hill basketball team, Henry led the Eagles to a pair of pointworthy wins over Washington Academy and Deer Isle-Stonington. He scored 16 of his team-high 18 points in the second half of a 56-48 win against WA, then scored at the buzzer to force overtime in a 60-56 win over DI-Stonington.
GIRLS
Big School (Classes A-B)
KATIE QUIMBY
Quimby, a junior on the Brewer basketball team, scored a combined 48 points in two recent games, including a career-high 29 in a 64-50 win over Old Town. She also racked up six assists, five steals and two blocks in the two games.
Small School (Classes C-D)
JOHNNA MICHAUD
A senior center for the Stearns of Millinocket basketball team, Michaud helped the Minutemen to two keys wins last week. She scored 14 points and had 14 rebounds in a 48-42 win over Central and tallied 10 points and nine rebounds in a 57-33 victory over Houlton. Stearns is now ranked fourth in the Eastern Maine Class C Heal Point standings.
