HARRINGTON – Harrington Family Health Center is proud to announce that Mary M. Bunker, D.O., recently joined the medical department.

Bunker is a full-time primary care physician at HFHC. Her expertise includes traditional medical therapies and some alternative therapies.

She received her medical training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and began her practice in Michigan.

BAR HARBOR – Neurologist David J. Goodenough, M.D., will join the medical staff of Mount Desert Island Hospital Feb. 1.

Goodenough is relocating from the Bangor-based Neurology Associates of Eastern Maine to the Acadia region. He will practice at the Trenton Health Center.

He is the only neurologist north of Augusta who is board-certified in both neurology and electrodiagnostic medicine, which evaluates nerve and muscle function.

He is a fellow with the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

He will continue to provide outpatient care for his established clients, if they desire, at the Trenton Health Center. Such patients must obtain written releases for pertinent medical records from Neurology Associates of Eastern Maine prior to their appointment.
