PRESQUE ISLE – The Husson College men notched their 10th straight win – a 64-61 decision over the University of Maine-Presque Isle – but not before sweating out Saturday’s game and watching the Owls miss a potential game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Tyler Muzzy of Greenville led the Eagles with 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a steal while Guilford’s Buddy Leavitt finished with 18 points on 6-for-12 shooting from 3-point range and six boards.
Fabian Lenox led the University of Maine-Presque Isle with 21 points. Mike Latchford had 19 points and 11 rebounds.
