ORONO – The University of Maine men’s basketball game on Sunday has been moved up to a noon start because it has been selected as part of the America East television package.
The game, originally set for 1 p.m. against Binghamton, will be televised locally on WVII of Bangor and regionally on NESN.
The day will also mark the annual scholar-athlete recognition ceremonies at halftime when the M Club Dean Smith Awards for top male and female scholar athletes will be presented.
