BRYANT POND – The Maine Conservation School has begun accepting reservations for the 2005 summer camp season, June 26-Aug. 26.

The school offers outdoor education programs for elementary and middle school pupils, lasting from one to three weeks. School groups also may schedule visits in the spring and fall.

The Maine Conservation School has been in business for nearly 50 years, and now teaches camping, hunting and forestry skills, as well as basic ecology, on the shore of Lake Christopher, also known as Bryant Pond.

Many campers are eligible for scholarships provided by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife or local fish and game clubs.
