Boston University (16-10-2) beat Boston College, which entered play ranked No. 1 in the nation by U.S. College Hockey Online, 2-1 in the nightcap on a pair of goals from John Laliberte.

Northeastern (11-13-4), seeking its first Beanpot title since 1988, beat Harvard (14-6-2) for the fourth time in five games to advance to the final.
