BANGOR – The Husson College Baseball Hot Stove Banquet in the Campus Center in Peabody Hall will be on Sunday at noon. The event was originally scheduled for Jan. 28.
Carl “Stump” Merrill, former manager of the New York Yankees, and Les Otten, vice chairman of the Boston Red Sox, will be the speakers.
Special guest emcees George Hale and Al Hackett will be on hand for the dinner, sports memorabilia auctions, and speeches all designed to raise funds for the Husson baseball team’s trip to Florida. Items will be available for both a silent auction and a regular auction. The silent auction concludes at 3 p.m.
