FORT KENT – The Fort Kent Recreation and Parks Department will offer a guided snowshoe nature walk for pupils in grades four through six from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Jalbert Park Skating Facility.

Two education students from the University of Maine at Fort Kent will demonstrate snowshoe techniques, animal tracking and how to start a nature journal.

Snowshoes will be provided for this free program. Preregistration is required.
