BANGOR – AWAKE is a new support group offered by Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Sleep Center of Maine for people diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, for those awaiting testing for OSA or people using continuous positive airway pressure.
The first meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 tonight in the Forsyth Conference Room at EMMC.
AWAKE will meet monthly and feature speakers, when available.
Dr. Thomas Kandra, sleep center medical director, will speak at the first meeting. Larry Lee will be the facilitator.
There will be time at each meeting for discussion. Refreshments will be available.
