Beer, change stolen from Rockland eatery

ROCKLAND – Somebody entered Tamarind Thai Restaurant, 80 Camden St., sometime late Monday or early Tuesday and stole beer and loose change, police said.

Deputy Police Chief Wallace Tower said 10 containers of beer and a small amount of change were taken.

The restaurant owners reported the break-in at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, he said. Investigators found there was no forced entry.

The case was still under investigation by the police detective division on Wednesday.
