Biathlete Tracy Barnes of Durango, Colo., who trains at the Maine Winter Sports Center in Fort Kent, posted her second consecutive 25th-place during the World Cup in the Julian Alps in Slovenia on Saturday.
Barnes followed her 25th in the women’s 7.5K sprint on Thursday, her first-ever points in a World Cup event, with one in the 10K pursuit two days later. She was the highest U.S. finisher in both events.
“I learned a lot today about racing with those fast girls. It was fun,” said Barnes.
