STANDISH – St. Joseph’s College received 14 points and nine rebounds from Margaret Blauvelt and 11 points from Megan Tetrault as the Monks beat the University of Maine-Fort Kent 56-43 Sunday to completed a weekend sweep of Aroostook County colleges.

St. Joseph’s nipped UM-Presque Isle 47-45 on Saturday.

On Sunday, Maryann Welsh netted a game-high 16 points for the Bengals and grabbed nine rebounds. Dana Lemon had 10 points.

At Standish Saturday, Val Dumais led St. Joseph’s with 12 points and Laura Pelkey had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Owls’ Sarah Beasley collected 16 points and seven rebounds.
