Harvey lifts Eagles to win over Beavers

BANGOR – Jason Harvey had 22 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and two steals to lead Husson College to a 91-78 men’s basketball victory Tuesday over the University of Maine-Farmington in the North Atlantic Conference quarterfinals.

Husson will play Elms College in the semifinals at Lasell College in Newton, Mass., on Friday at 8 p.m.

Buddy Leavitt had 23 points and eight rebounds for the Eagles. Tyler Muzzy added 17 points and eight rebounds, and Phil White had 12 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

Bobby Deetjen led the Beavers with 19 points, and Trafton Teague had 16 points and eight rebounds. Luke Nielsen posted nine points and 10 rebounds, and Matt St. John scored nine points.
