NEWPORT – Alyssa Bragdon hit all five of her free throws in the fourth quarter to lift the Nokomis Warriors to a 46-41 Class A girls basketball win over the John Bapst Crusaders Wednesday night.

Bragdon finished with 13 points, including eight free throws, while sister Ashley notched eight points. Kelley Paradis tallied eight points and eight rebounds.

Katie Andrle netted 14 points to lead John Bapst of Bangor and Chere Wickstrom added 10.

Mark Hyland scored 22 points and Travis Hovey added 21 to lead Valley. Lucas Melcher added nine points.

Brian Cain paced NYA with 27 points and Tim Deluca put in 25.
