BIDDEFORD – The St. Joseph’s College Monks pulled away from the University of New England in the second half en route to an 86-75 men’s basketball win Wednesday night.

Jon Pratt led St. Joseph’s of Standish with 23 points, while Steve Monteiro recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Matt McManus hit six 3-pointers on his way to 24 points for the Nor’easters. Randall Thomas added 13.
