ORONO – The University of Maine men’s hockey team will host the first round of the 2005 Hockey East Championship Tournament at Alfond Arena.
The best of three series begins Friday, March 11, at 7 p.m. Game two will be played on Saturday, March 12, at 7 p.m., and game three, if necessary, will be played Sunday, March 13, at 7 p.m. The winner of the quarterfinal round will advance to the semifinals of the 2005 Hockey East Tournament held at the Fleet Center in Boston on March 18.
Tickets for the quarterfinals will be available at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday for $15 and can be purchased by calling 581-BEAR or 1-800-756-TEAM or at the Alfond Arena box office between 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
