A clear favorite

Remember drinking Kool-Aid when you were a kid? It always left a telltale mustache in bright red, purple, green or blue. Now, you and your kids can subtly sip with new Kool-Aid Invisible, a clear alternative to the Kool-Aid smile. It comes in two flavors, raspberry and watermelon kiwi, and is available in an unsweetened powder, which costs 25 cents per envelope.

Return of a classic

Crate and Barrel has reissued Eva Zeisel’s classic 1950s dinnerware. These sculptural pieces in organic shapes are made of high-fired English earthenware with a creamy vanilla glaze. The collection ranges in price from $54.95 to $236.95 and is available at www.crateandbarrel.com.

Spud sampler

You say potato. I say Caribe. If you take spuds seriously, check out Wood Prairie Farm’s Maine Potato Catalog, which offers organic Aroostook County potatoes in all sorts of unusual varieties, including Russian banana fingerling, cranberry red and all-blue. For information or to order a catalog, call (800) 829-9765 or visit www.woodprairie.com.
