Knox residents will elect three selectmen when they gather Saturday at the municipal building for the annual town meeting.

Town Clerk Marjorie Larrabee said seats held by First Selectman Basil Wentworth, Second Selectman Andrew Bryant and Third Selectman Rachel Larrabee were up for election.

Marjorie Larrabee said she believes some of the incumbents will stand for re-election. Nominations for the seats are taken from the floor.

In addition to the voting, Larrabee said, residents will be asked to approve the 2005 annual budget proposed by selectmen. She said spending for the coming year would remain at the same level as last year.

“There’s nothing really earth-shattering going on,” Larrabee said Monday. “The selectmen have kept a good line on spending.”

The annual town meeting in Knox will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12.
