UNITY – The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association will host its annual spring growth conference 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at MOFGA’s Common Ground Education Center on Crosby Brook Road.
The theme of this year’s event will be “Local and Organic in a Global Food Economy: What is our role as farmers, as consumers, as citizens?”
There will be numerous speakers and workshops. Preregistration is encouraged. Fees are $35 for individuals, $50 for couples, $25 for students and apprentices. Registration includes lunch.
