LANDOVER, Md. – Boothbay High School junior Lauren Forgues took third place and posted a personal-best time of 7 minutes, 0.94 seconds in the 1-mile racewalk Saturday at the Nike Indoor National Track and Field Championships.

Carly Lochala, a senior at Mt. Blue High in Farmington, walked a 7:54.71 to take sixth in the field of 24 girls. Both Forgues and Lochala were named All-Americans. Helen Pottle of Perry, a junior at Shead of Eastport, finished eighth with a time of 8:11.35 and Mt. Blue senior Jessie Smith was 25th.

In the boys’ race, Caribou High senior Andrew Ciszewski earned All-America status with a sixth-place finish and a personal-best time of 7:30.37. Dresden’s Padric Gleason, a junior at Hall-Dale of Farmingdale, was eighth with an 8:18.19.
