ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Jim Gray fired a three-hitter and Kyle Mathieu had a pair of run-scoring singles as Husson defeated Keene (N.H.) State 4-1 to salvage the second game of a doubleheader Monday.

Keene State pitchers no-hit the Eagles of Bangor in the opener to also win 4-1.

In the second game, Gray finished with six strikeouts and walked two.

Steve Estes had a triple and two singles and Adam Sheehan had an inside-the-park homer and single for the Eagles.

Pat Austin tripled for Keene State.

In the opener, Jon Young and Jim Slack no-hit the Eagles. Young struck out six and walked four over 6 1/3 innings before Slack got the final two outs.

Greg Ford had two triples and an RBI single for Keene State.
