BOOTHBAY HARBOR – High school juniors interested in oceanography can apply through Friday for a special program at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences.
Students in the 16th annual Keller BLOOM Program will participate in research and field studies focusing on the chemical, physical and biological properties of the ocean and the microscopic organisms common to the Gulf of Maine.
This year’s program will be held May 8-12, and there is no cost to students. The application deadline is Friday, March 18.
