LAKELAND, Fla. – Righthander Russ Steinhorn threw a five-hitter, striking out three and walking one to lead Southeastern College to a 7-3 baseball win over Husson College of Bangor Tuesday.
Jesus Alfonso’s two-run single keyed a five-run third inning rally as the Crusaders posted their 15th win in their last 16 games while Husson slipped to 2-8.
Mike Casineiras had a run-scoring single in the third as Southeastern College built a 7-0 lead.
Sean Brawn’s solo homer and RBI singles by Shawn Henderson and Chris McInnis paced Husson.
