About 25 people braved snowy travel conditions on Monday to act on the annual town meeting warrant.
The 2005 budget, which was approved as proposed, reflects about a $107,000 increase over the 2004 spending plan.
Residents agreed to apply $906,231 in revenues to reduce the tax commitment.
Among the funding levels accepted were $50,575 for the industrial park project and $5,000 for the comprehensive plan, both viewed as vital to the community’s future economy and vitality.
Also approved was $120,00 for the Police Department; $68,700 for the Fire Department; $221,400 for health and sanitation; $325,335 for highway accounts; and $341,845 for general government.
Elected to office were Richard Gallagher as selectman and Cheryl Benoit and Walter Lougee as SAD 41 directors.
