FAIRFIELD – In recognition of National Autism Awareness Month, the first Maine Autism Resource Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Kennebec Valley Community College.

The free event is open to all and is of special interest to parents, educators, physicians, therapists and day care providers.

Sessions will be held on topics including siblings of those with autism, autism and Asperger’s syndrome, advocacy, disability awareness and speech language.

Door prizes include Portland Pirates tickets, whale watching passes, hotel gift certificates, teaching software and a certificate to attend the Temple Grandin conference in August.
