PALERMO – The annual town meeting, which had been scheduled for March 12, has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Palermo Consolidated School on Route 3.
Town elections were held March 11. Elected to a three-year term on the Board of Selectmen with 104 votes was Dean Potter.
Donald Barrett won a seat on the school board, landing 55 votes, topping two write-in candidates, Anita Shaggy with 24 votes and Lisa Faires with 15 votes. The seat carries a three-year term.
Longtime Town Clerk Janet Potter retired this year and Sheila McCarty won election to the post, defeating Charelle Collivan, 63-37.
