Smyrna
Smyrna residents will go to the polls Monday, March 21, to choose one member of the board of selectmen and approve a representative for the Southern Aroostook Community School board of directors.
Voters will be asked to approve a municipal budget of $153,000.
Residents will also decide whether to take out a $100,000 bond to pave the Smyrna Center Road.
Incumbent Clifford Folson is running unopposed for one open seat on the Board of Selectmen. Linda White, also an incumbent, is running unopposed for a position on the SACS board.
The polls will be open on March 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Town Office. The annual town meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Oakfield Community Center.
Merrill
The only big issue facing voters in Merrill when they head to the polls on Tuesday, March 22, will be deciding whether to approve the $149,500 municipal budget.
Mark Lawlor, an incumbent, is running unopposed for a seat on the Board of Selectmen.
The polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Town Office. The annual meeting will be held at the Oakfield Community Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Crystal
Voters in Crystal will be asked their opinion on a total of 27 articles when they head to the polls Monday, March 21, to act on a $101,484 municipal budget.
The polls will open at the Town Office at 12:30 p.m., with voting until 6 p.m. on the first three articles of the warrant.
The other 24 articles will be decided when the annual meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Crystal Wesleyan Church.
Gerald Violette and Patrick York, both incumbents, are running unopposed for two seats on the Board of Selectmen.
