Union 102 schedules kindergarten sign-ups

MACHIAS – Kindergarten registration for School Union 102 will be held on Monday, April 11, at the Rose M. Gaffney School in Machias, and on May 3 at Jonesboro Elementary School.

Parents must contact the appropriate school office as soon as possible with the child’s name and birth date, the parent’s name and mailing address and the town of residence.

The child’s immunization record and official birth certificate must be brought to the screening.

Parents from Wesley should call the Rose M. Gaffney School to schedule an appointment for kindergarten registration.

A parents’ night for parents enrolling their children in kindergarten at the Rose M. Gaffney School will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 7.

An overview of the kindergarten screening process will be provided and parents can schedule a screening appointment at that time.
